Monday, 1 February 2010
Dark adaptation and light adaptation are in the visual function. The retina slowly becomes more sensitive to light as the individual becomes accustomed to the dark this threshold is called dark adaptation. The light seems intensely and even uncomfortably bright until the eyes this threshold is called as light adaptation. The eye can move with the help of the muscles. There are four types of eye movements each controlled by a different neural system but sharing the same final common path.
